NHL Digest readers voted this one of the ugliest hockey jersey’s ever! These early Canuck sweaters feature a shocking colour combo (why yellow and black?) and an odd, fashion forward graphic (a “V”?) which makes this uniform one of the oddest ever seen on the rink, and one of the poorest selling in the fan shops. The only positive thing that I can say is that the designers broke the mold, resisting the urge to go classic. With the fashion world still obsessing over details of the eighties, these may make a comeback!
