I am all over this concept, upcycling a throw away textile (coffee bags) into a massclusive object (Fully product line orientated, but still able to be a one off, with no two being the same).  I am thrilled that a Canadian company is moving in this direction and would love to see more of these smart objects reach the marketplace. Fingers crossed that the design consuming public will appreciate this piece too, rewarding the bravery as much as the aesthetic. This is just a little step, and will be a great design lesson to manufactures and design brands in Canada. The world really needs more of this type of thinking applied. Great design + progressive thinking = the right thing to do.

It would be cool if this was like Freitag bags, where I could order one with the panels customized. Give me a list of available pieces to apply. I pick the ones I like, and Gus builds me my own Ottoman out of the coffee bags. It would be a great spin off website too…like Custom Gus – Go Planet! This is such a nice brand builder. NICE PIECE tf
