LOVE this building – it has a powerful presence from the outside, great spaces on the inside (and the roof) and beautiful details, especially the use of local material (Tyndall stone). I was always told that the form was an abstracted iceberg, which seems to fit – there’s even a smoke stack at the back looks like a shard that’s broken away from the building.
