Nice! Those look just like Amik, the mascot of the 1976 Olympic Summer Games in Montréal.

Yes, these guys are definitely an homage to Amik, especially the raccoon. This was my way of lionizing Toronto’s urban vermin in the way that the Amik design celebrated Canada’s national animal.
