The Safelok Key Control was designed for used car lots. The box is a diecast container that is slipped over the top of a window of each car on the lot, with the car key locked inside. If a potential customer shows an interest in a specific vehicle, instead of having to go to a key board to obtain the key, the salesman can unlock the car for demonstration on the spot. Since the device was designed back in the days when car door handles protruded beyond the door surface, it can also be adapted to install on the door handles of these older cars. -Lawrie McIntosh
