How did Sunar not end up like Knoll, or Herman Miller? Their product lines are so awesome.
Collectors, start looking for these pieces now.
What happened to Sunar?

Fortunate to recently acquire the desk with a clip-on return, along with credenza and file cart from this line. I love the look, and the quality is first rate, definitely on par with Knoll and Herman Miller. Sunar was purchased by Cleveland company Hauserman in 1978 and became Sunar-Hauserman, but they went out of business in 1989. Douglas Ball later designed for Vecta/Steelcase and Herman Miller.
