Single-speed bicycles have made an enormous comeback. With clean lines and simple, low cost efficiency the style has become popular as a city bike. Most single-speed bikes are Frankenstein’s, built from classic old frames and mismatched parts that riders had lying around, but manufacturers have caught on to the movement, producing new versions of the style.

Meh. Single speed bikes are a douchy hipster trend that is extremely unlikely to continue in popularity, as these types of bikes are impractical for just about anything except very very light casual trips. Unfortunately having an upturned collar and wearing golf pants is not going to help you ride up that hill or control your descent down the other side. :)

All most bicycle “companies” design is their logo they then go to China and pick out cookie cutter frames that are mass produced.
