It seems fitting that the some of the best dog sleds are made in Canada. These sleds (the short, medium and long distance sleds shown) are 100% hand-built by Hans Gatt for serious conditions, and serious sledders. Using top grade machined parts from aircraft aluminum and UHMW plastic, they are designed for speed and endurance, over comfort and cruising. All Gatt sleds feature a new design from the company, an aluminum brake (last pic). A god send after you have been bounced off the rig, and are trying to catch up to it.
