Pretty lame, this seems a little easy and not too mention that the trend of loading logos to adapt seems outdated.

NOOOOOO! The original was a classic. Change is good but we need somethings to stay constant.

I do not like this at all, the square does not say outdoors. It all seems so basic. MEC is not square, they symoblically link us to the outside and the mountains were a visual clue to that call out. What is wrong with granola? It seems like most smart brands would kill for this reference.

Hmmm, not sure either. I want to like it and I understand why this identity was rethought. This is a great Canadian brand and I guess the original, like Coka-Cola or Nike, was something that I felt did not need to be changed. Time will tell.

This does not feel like the MEC brand at all. Call me sentimental, but the original one was tops.
