Nanna Ditzel created a rough and thick textile pattern that was produced by Danish manufacturer Kvadrat in 1968, still in production it has sold over four million metres around the world. This year, the fabric is being relaunched in 58 colours, including 22 shades that were in Ditzel’s original colour samples. To celebrate this longevity, designers where asked to create objects using the new fabric that will be the focal point of the Hallingdal 65 exhibition at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
