This chart, expresses 93 different ethnic origins as declared by Canadians in the 2001 census by Statistics Canada. Census data provides a storehouse of information that can be translated into a cultural reading of our national identity. The result is a multi-coloured, multi-cultural, visualization that is both intimate and panoramic allowing for a micro and macro reading of what it is to be Canadian.
