How great are the two lighting effects jackets from Westbeach? The top piece is the YVR (the airport call number for Vancouver, Westbeach’s hometown) and is the industry’s first UV-responsive jacket. The YVR’s discreet white design features a wallpaper style suitcase print. As the sun exposure increases, the graphic changes and contents of the suitcase is revealed, and than slowly disappears when you head back inside. The second jacket, the Phenom, features a photo-luminescent coating that creates a glowing camo style pattern in the dark.  Again, the appearance changes over time, with some parts being visible only at night. Pretty cool tricks for the slopes, and chalet this winter (six weeks left).
