This once utilitarian catalogue, filled with everything from stove tops to cutlery to bonnets of all shapes and sizes, can provide hours and hours of Canadian archeological entertainment (or maybe I’m just a huge nerd). The illustrations are beautiful and earnest and it’s just fascinating to see the range of products this company carried. Flipping through this (very thick) book gives one an intimate picture of our national material culture at the turn of the last century.
