The design is a simple closed loop which is pulled open to put on the ear (cross at bottom is where it opens). A natural spring to the silver wire allows the hoop to go back to it's original shape. For those who prefer a low maintenance earring, our small Ribbon Hoop is a great replacement for the standard sleeper hoop. Leave them in overnight, or for indefinite periods of time.
