“Dining scenario…like a concert…sound of welcoming currents”, these guys make the products sound retarded. They must be architects cum furniture designers. If this concept direction sold Keilhauer to the idea, wow. Love the work, and I hope the consumers will see past the goofy design bologna. These are beautiful.

Do all designers have to look like this? Love the idea of including video on the site, but I am scared if all the designers end up sounding this way, prententious and thinking that our spaces should be designed like a symphny, what about the environemtn, or just talking about the gorgeaus form. Is the form not enough? Lose the hot air and haircuts.

Funny, I am sure that this little video snapshot is not exactly the complete concept that the designers worked through, nor does it represent the process of Keilhauer. This seems to be a low level marketing idea, that frankly does little to flatter the pieces or the designers. I blame the producers of this video rather than the designers, who I am sure can speak to the higher values of the project. It will be a great day when companies discuss the value of design at a higher level, rather then thinking that we need some dribbling watered down blurbs to connect to their brands. Keep it real man, and get us to the authentic and humble stuff.
