These were created as souvenir items for the Cabin Exhibition, and never made it into production (yet!). Charming and completely on brand, this work was some of the first to embrace the images of Canadiana in an unembarrassed and genuine way, paving the way for the recent waves of antlers, and wood grain styles. Not apologetic for being what they are, and in turn reflecting what we are, this work was a serious confidence boost for the creative community in Canada. Marking a change in the way we viewed, and were inspired by, our own cultural signifiers and material culture.
