This sidewalk facing wall was filled with 1″ buttons spelling out This is Contemporary Art, with each individual button displaying a one word response of what contemporary art is today. The public was encouraged to grab as many of the 50,000 buttons as they wanted, and spread the word. An amazing piece of work, both viral and completely in the spirit of an art installation.
