Here is one of the more popular pieces of BMP, the Grecian form remained in production, unchanged for decades. The Candy Strip glaze is one of my favourites, and is one of the rarest types developed by the company in the late seventies. The glaze did not seem popular at the time, and few objects in the line got it. It is a well known rumour that the company destroyed all the factory molds when they closed but I just heard today that the glaze formulas are gone as well. Given this sad fact, and the obvious environmental impacts of ceramic glaze in general, the world will never see colours like this again.
