I find it fascinating that the word “BlackBerry” has lost most of it’s association with the fruit in my mind. Regardless of its context, when I hear it, I think of the mobile device first. And I don’t even own one.
What’s also interesting is that, for me anyway, the word “Apple” is still a fruit first, and a brand second. And I definitely own a few of their products.

It was designed by Landor. They created Blackberry icon with counter spaces in ‘B’. They did a fantastic job except I am not convinced with the modified type where the characters are not completely in sync such as ‘c’, ‘k’, ‘e’ and ‘a’ looks different than the other characters.
