This saw is one of the most efficient time-saving tools for living in the wilderness for varying lengths of time, either for the hardcore canoeist or the weekend cottager. From first-hand experience i can assure anyone looking quizically at this device that its beyond what its cracked up to be. When completely collapsed into a single tube it makes an effective hammer for tent pegs or a baton to fend-off hungry animals… and other campers. Most importantly however, if on a wet and windy day you decide to cut up some dry wood you’ve miraculously found in some nook of the woods, you’ll have a fire going in minutes… otherwise you can enjoy the arduous task of breaking branches to the proper lengths over your knee or between two trees…. sucka! ps. the blade is SHARP!
