The Apollo vases are some of the rarest Blue Mountain Pottery pieces – made for only 3 years [1977- 1980] they have become hard to find collectables. The mottled glaze is extremely thick and tactile with an explosive colour palette, a mixture of orange, dark brown, black and white that is almost garish. Pictures do not do these pieces justice; they are truly beautiful and are instant design classics.
