Here are two versions of the “You and I” television and movie theater spots. These were created when Air Canada emerged from bankruptcy in the fall of 2004 and were designed to help shape pubic opinion, which had fallen significantly. The ads feature music from Céline Dion that has been slightly modified to fit the format (including lyrics). Following the launch of the ad campaign, the company came out with a revised livery design, colour scheme, and brand development as well. As a note, these are not the original Air Canada “You and I” commercials, this pair was jointly developed with the Canadian Tourism Commission and Air Canada, with the goal of attracting visitors and repositioning of the company.
