A lovely detail of this city landmark, the Albert Memorial Bridge in the middle of downtown, a memorial to the Saskatchewan soldiers who died in World War I. Each terra-cotta baluster of the beam bridge is a unique, hand-painted and glazed masterpiece. Amazing handmade infrastructure that will never be seen in buildings again. The parts were recently brought back original brightness and glory with a 1.4 million restoration project.
